Purepol has, since it was founded, grown out to be a leading manufacturer of High Quality polyurethane moulded cold cure foam.
To produce this high quality PU foam, special polyurethane formulations and special moulds are used, which are fully customisable to the clients’ requirements.
Thanks to the characteristics of its cell structure, polyurethane foam is very resilient and extremely hard wearing.
It rules out any indentation and keeps the seating comfort intact throughout the years, making it the filling material of choice for all types of seating furniture, office seats, theatre seats, examination chairs and project furniture.
3.1. Polyurethane moulded foam without inserts
Purepol is producing top range high resilient (HR) polyurethane (PU) moulded foam. Thanks to the characteristics of its cell structure, our cold cure foam is extremely resilient and hard wearing, excellent for use as filling material for all kinds of seating furniture. It rules out indentation, and throughout the years, its initial seating comfort is guaranteed to remain intact.
Our high tech machine park can produce limited series from 20 pieces, up to batches of 1000 pieces or more. The foam volume can vary between 100 grams to 8 kg per pieces. Depending on the shape of the end product, specific moulds or templates are used. Our PU foam can be used for following applications:
- Seating furniture: from chairs and one-seaters to complete sofas
- Office chairs
- Medical (examination) chairs (stools, dentist chairs, examination tables, supports, recliners)
- Project furniture
Our manufacturing process is Polyol / MDI based, guaranteeing you PU foam of very high quality, which offers resilience and true seating comfort at the same time. We continuously look for new innovations in foam technology, so that we can offer you even more seating comfort and fire retardant qualities. Our standard HR systems are verified in FMVSS 302 and CMVSS 302 fire standards. We are also able to produce foams according to BS 5852 fire standards (Crib 5).
3.2. Polyurethane Molded foams with inserts :
It is possible to integrate all kinds of inserts in our top quality PU foam: metal frames, wooden planks or plastic parts, to name but a few. These inserts provide extra sturdiness to the foam. Metal inserts can be developed and produced in-house but wooden and plasticparts and bought by us, or delivered by the client.
Flexible Polyurethane stands for flexibility – which also means a customised service. Our experts assist our clients throughout the complete process and help decide on the best solutions. Wooden Planks or Plastic Insert purchasing: Purepol will request price offers with several suppliers, to then make a decision based on price, quality, delivery reliability and flexibility.
Mould development and purchasing: Purepol is in cooperation with the best mould suppliers. We can existing mould models to turn them into 3D files. Here also, the eventual supplier will be selected based on price, quality, capacity and delivery time.
